A 2006 vintage Champagne from Krug, made with a blend of 43% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier grapes. Soft aromas of dried fruit, toasted almonds, hazelnuts, maple syrup and mandarin fill the nose. The palate offers notes of nougat, frangipane and tarte tatin, alongside sharp grapefruit. Try pairing this Champagne with slow-roasted lamb, chicken tagine or ratatouille.
